Remy Shand feat: Somkey Robinson - Rocksteady: rmx (Motown)

Remy Shand is a superstar in the making. His music is a refreshing take to the classic R&B and soul styles of yesteryear legends Marvin Gaye, Donnie Hathaway and Stevie Wonder. And speaking of legends, here he teams up with Motown legend Smokey Robinson to redefine his already brilliant track 'Rockstady

'Rocksteady' is briilant plain and simple, the original version hints at Al Green's Love and Happiness but this remix is just a delight - a smoothe piano intro sees Remy's sweet baritone step in then on the second verse you hear the introduction of Smokey's silky sweet voice. Excellent production all round gives this remix that extra something and kudos to Remy for sticking to his guns to not overhaul the song completely.

If you've not picked up his CD yet then you are sleeping it's definitely one for your collection if you are a soul fan. A favourite of mine in all respect and should be in yours too. A TY-D Pick indeed.

Dynamic Duo - Kenny & Chante Kenny Lattimore & Chante Moore - Loveable (fr; your head to your toes)  (Arista)

It's a fairytale story. They met a couple of years ago, tied the knot last year in Jamaica now they're making sweet music together (literally). Two of R&Bs most profilable singers Kenny Lattimore and Chante Moore have released their first single as such called 'Loveable' (fr; your head to your toes).

Taken from their forhtcoming album 'Things that lovers do', the song which was written by the new Mr. and Mrs. Lattimore and produced by veteran producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, is a sensually beautiful ballad that takes you into their world of constant affection showcasting their love for each other. It's well crafted and extremely well written and will definitely be a favourite amoung soul fans everywhere.

The album is a project that they want to give to their fans as a token of their appreciation for all the support they've received throughout their careers which is why the album will feature various love song cover duets varying from the legendary Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway to Keith Sweat and Jackki McGhee.

There is no release date as of yet for the album and there hasn't been any indication as to wether the album will be released through Kenny's label (Arista) or Chante (who's currently not with MCA and is shopping for a label) but as always I will keep you informed if and when any info becomes available

Put this one in high rotation for your listening pleasure it's just a great track all round - a TY-D Pick through and though
