The 15-track album follows suit in the shape of their debut set as it is recorded in both French and English and this time around it may gain them an even greater fan base than they currently have.

One Step Forward shows the various influences from their travels to lands both near and far, the duo visited Cameroon, Jamaica, and various destinations around the world, soaking up the vibes of reggae, afro-beat, and pop. The new album, recorded in Paris, London and Jamaica, is a "step forward" conceptually for the ladies, and features special guests including reggae musical family Morgan Heritage and African vibes legend Manu Dibango. D'Angelo arrested on misdemeanor charges

Also making the news this week is another high profile singer. D'Angelo (birth name: Michael Archer) was arrested last Monday (November 18) at his home in Chesterfield County, Virginia on misdemeanor charges including aggressive driving, assault, curse and abuse, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, Richmond's Times Dispatch reports.

Police officers reportedly had to use pepper spray to subdue the singer, when he allegedly resisted arrest. D'Angelo was released on his own recognizance, and ordered to appear in Chesterfield General Court on
January 15, according to the Associated Press. D'Angelo, 28, allegedly got into an altercation with a woman Sunday (November 17) at a Virginia gas station. D'Angelo allegedly cut the woman off in his SUV, and later cursed and spit on her, according to reports.

A spokesperson for the Chesterfield Police Department was not available for comment at press time. A spokesperson for Virgin Records, D'Angelo's label, said that the label did not have a comment at this time regarding the matter. D'Angelo's last album, Voodoo, was released in 2000, and won a Grammy for Best R&B album. He also has a new album in the works now. The album is due out next year.
