Soul 24-7 is back - period!

Doing without your favourite radio station is like losing your sight or not being able to breathe - it's not pleasent to say the least and that was the case with Soul 24-7 the internet's 1st true internet soul radio station that's  dedicated to playing you nothing but the very best in soul music.

Last December they shut down shop due to their hosting facility (literally) pulling the plug on them and now some 7 months later they return to the cyber space airways sounding bigger and better than ever. All the usual suspects (DJ wise) returns including Alex James, John 'Jester' Willis, Chris Wells and Sour Mash Collective just to name a few. They're in the test stages right now with full rotation returning within the next few weeks - I'm so happy.

Aguilera and Keys collaborate for 'Impossible'

Current and reigning R&B diva Alicia Keys joins pop princess Christina Aguilera on a duet called 'Impossible' for Christina's forthcoming yet-to-be-titled album. The gals got together at New York's Electric Lady studios last month to record the track which is produced by Alicia herself.

Said Alicia of the session "Christina wasn't looking like the "big ol' pimp" There was no diamond-encrusted gold goblet or neon three-piece suit with the matching hat and 'gators. She just sported a cutoff Terry Bradshaw Pittsburgh Steelers jersey, though her white undershirt did match her pink and white scarf" Although she had a runny nose, her cold didn't stop her from getting down to business of singing the new song called 'Impossible'.

Alicia and Christina have been wanting to work together for a while, and the two got an instant  vibe off each other — they hung out and partied before Keys penned the track. A tentative September 17 release date has been set for album, which will be the proper follow-up to her 1999 self-titled debut
