      Eminem is
sued for illegal sample by French composer    It
      has been reported that Eminem
and his record label Interscope are being sued by composer Jacques
      Loussier for illegally
using one of his songs on Eminem's sophomore LP 'The Marshall Mathers LP'.
      The track in question 'Kill
you' uses a sample from one
      of Jacques songs called 'Pulsion'
which apparently it seems they did not have the clearance to use .
 The suit, which
names Loussier as plaintiff, seeks unspecified damages. No date for the
proceedings have been released as of yet. The suit claims: The conduct of
[Eminem] as alleged in this complaint was never authorized, licensed,
permitted, or ratified by [Loussier]. Loussier, 67, from gay ol' Paris,
gained fame in the 50s by fusing classical music and jazz with his Play Bach Trio. He
has released several albums, selling 6 million copies worldwide.
      Eminem's debut movie '8 Mile'
(in which he stars in) will be in theatres in
      July.    Source:
