Chante Moore and Kenny Lattimore weds

Hard to believe but it's true, singers Chante Moore and Kenny Lattimore got married on New Years Eve at the Grand Lido San Souci Resort Hotel in Ocho Rios, Jamaica where Kenny was confirmed to be doing a performance there (and it was all on the hush hush - until now anyway). Chante was married to 'A Diif'rent World' star Kadeem Hardison for 4 years and went their separate ways in 2000, they share a child, a little girl Sofia.

Kenny's latest release 'Weekend' has seen mixed reviews as a whole (although it's a favourite of mine) but scored big with the title track, while Chante's last release 'Exposed' (released in 2000) saw her get a top ten hit with the Jermaine Dupri produced 'Straight up'. It's also rumored that the new bride is expecting (rumored mind you - will confirm in later reports). Congratulations to the happy couple.

Isley Bros new LP to feature Jay-Z and Ja Rule

Ronald Isley (aka Mr. Biggs) and the Isley Brothers aren't pulling any punches on the follow up last year's set Eternal, which lifted the soul legends back on the soul/pop charts on again. The group has mentioned that they will enlisting some of the most bankable rappers in the business.

"We're going to work with
Jay-Z, Ja Rule and a lot of the rappers," says singer Ronald Isley. Recording hasn't started yet, but Isley and brother Ernie have begun writing songs, and they hope to release the album by the end of this year.

Ronald will also be appearing in a new movie with
R. Kelly, who helped produce the brothers' two most recent records -- Eternal and 1996's Mission to Please. "He's writing, he's directing, and I'm starring in it," said Isley, whose alter ego "Mr. Biggs" has twice appeared in videos with Kelly. "I don't want to give the title away yet, but it's going to be a real heavyweight type of movie."
