Dennis Taylor releases new set 'Unconditional'

Dennis TaylorAfter exploding unto the R&B/House scene with his excellent debut album 'Enough is Enough', Dennis Taylor returns to the fold with his sophomore set 'Unconditional' (Dome)

The album will be in shops (or stores) October 15th. No word on what the lead off single will be but Dennis will tour the UK for a series of live shows which will kick off at the Southport Weekender on Nov. 3rd and then on to London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on Nov 4th. Randy Jackson to face fraud charges

Randy JacksonOne of the most famous family groups ever the Jacksons has one of their own in trouble with the law and it's not Latoya or Michael this time around but the second youngest Randy.

Randy (whose given name is Steven) is facing fraud charges for failing to list all assets when he filed for bankruptcy recently in a circuit court. If convicted Randy could be looking at a jail sentence of up to 5 years. The family members could not be reached for comment on the incident and has not released a statement on the issue .

Mariah Carey's 'Glitter' drops Sept 10th

Recovering nicely - Mariah CareyWell after her stint in the hospital and recovering at an undisclosed location with her mum by her side, Mariah Carey's soundtrack and movie will be released after all come Sept 10th and 17th respectively. The movie (which stars Mariah) is based on a page out of Mariah's rise to stardom where she tells the tale of her early beginnings

Mariah who recently parted ways with former beau Luis Miquel was reportedly so shook up about the break up that insiders say it played a major role in her recent 'breakdown'. Now on the mend, Mariah is poised to return to work.

The soundtrack features 80's hits covered by Mariah and a slew of guest performers. Tracks include current single 'Loverboy' (with Da brat) ,Last Night A DJ Saved My Life. I Didn't Mean To Turn You On and 'Never too far'

Soulbrother Records releases 'Organic Soul'

Five of the finest - Organic SoulOne of my favourite record shops at the moment is Soulbrother Records located in Putney, London where if you're a DJ (like me) you'e in 7th heaven. When it comes to rare grooves, classic 70's soul, 60's northern soul no one and I do mean no one has quite the selection these guys has.

Which brings me to their current compilation disc called 'Organic Soul'  reports soulbrother.com - a showcase for five of today's finest independent soul artists. Celebrating the sound of 'Real Soul From The Roots', Organic Soul features selected tracks from N'dambi, Laurnea, Ledisi, Karen Bernod and Ian. Each artist is represented by three tracks and includes an exclusive cut by Ledisi. If you didn't pick up the individual albums by each of these highly gifted artists, this will be the perfect introduction to these real soul flavours. This will also be the first time these tracks have been available on vinyl (double LP) which I know will please a lot of jocks out there
