Usher gives restauranteurs 'a song' for desert

can't stop singing - UsherR&B mega star Usher treated folks in a trendy Atlanta restaurant to a free impromptu show while they were enjoying their meal recently.

According to the magazine People.com, the multi-platinum singer was dining with some of his friends Big Boi of Outkast being among them, when he stepped into the DJ booth, grabbed the mic and started to sing.

He would belt out his tune 'Friends and Lovers' and even did the rap done originally by Ludacris. Coincidently, there's a lyric in the rap that said "Now you're all grown up like Rudy Huxtable," and it just so happened that actress who played Rudy in the TV show The Cosby Show - Keisha Knight Pulliam was at the restaurant at the time. A source said, "She was dancing away as Usher sang to her."

In related news, the singer recently hinted that he will be doing his final live performance of the at the Showtime concert special broadcast from Puerto Rico last month. He said that he would be focusing on his film career and his business ventures such as his record label and his part ownership in the Cleveland Cavaliers professional basketball team

Pay up - Suge Knight Former Death Row head Suge Knight is back in the news once again all be it for all the wrong reasons you would think. This time the one-time record mogul has been ordered to pay the hefty sum of $107million to a woman who claimed she helped to launch the record label Death Row.

Lydis Harris wife of entrepreneur and convicted felon Micheal Harris stated in her 2002 lawsuit that she and Knight were equal founding partners of Death Row Records but he axed her once he realized just how profitable the label would become. Her lawyer said, “His conduct made it clear that he did not intend to honour his agreement or pay the shares of profit due her. He also publicly insulted her and falsely accused her of promiscuity and incompetence.”

Knight who has yet to give a statement on the recent developments, served 7 years for violating his probation and was released from prison in 2003.
