Capital Radio Awards With the recent bevy of awards in full swing the last few months, it comes as no surprise that my native hometown would get in on the act. This past week, one of London's longest running radio stations, Capitol Radio held it's annual awards show at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.

The ceremony highlights what London has to offer from it's Favourite Football Team (and the team I support - my beloved Arsenal) to favourite West End show and all that's in between in music. The big winner on the night was UK's newest darling Natasha BEdingfield who won 2 awards on the night for London’s Favourite UK Newcomer and London’s Favourite UK Single
. Other winners include Lemar who won for London's Favourite UK Male Vocalist, Jamelia for London's Favourite UK Female Vocalist and Joss Stone for London's Favourite UK Album. Olivia chats about J Records, G-Unit and Ashanti

Starting beef? - OliviaG-Units first lady Olivia recently stopped off at the Choice FM studios in London recently to chat about how much her life has changed. She talked about shopping in the city and the busy interview schedule among other things.

The luscious lady is in the midst of the promo tour with rapper and label mate 50 Cent and talked about being the first person signed to Clive Davis' J Records label, jumping ship to sign with Interscope, her new album 'Behind Closed Doors' and more.

There was also a little tension too when Ashanti's name was brought up in the interview (another member of The Inc posse, will all this beef ever get squashed?). For more on the interview visit Choice FM

Whitney Houston enters rehab for a 2nd time

Back again? - Whitney HoustonA year after her first stay in rehab, pop and R&B diva Whitney Houston is heading into a rehabilitation facility for a second time, this according to her publicist, who declined to provide additional details.

In March of last year, Houston checked herself into an undisclosed rehabilitation center and in 2002 admitted that afters years of denying drug use she had used cocaine, marijuana and pills in an interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC's Primetime. She has said she was using the power of prayer to help her get over her habit.

In January 2000, Houston left behind a bag at an airport in Hawaii that allegedly held less than half an ounce of marijuana and three partially smoked marijuana cigarettes; a petty misdemeanor drug charge was dismissed when a counselor said Houston didn't need treatment for substance abuse. Houston, 41, has been working with longtime producer/mentor Clive Davis on a new studio album.

Lil' Kim found guilty of perjury

Found guilty - Lil' Kim Rapper Li' Kim (who's birth name is Kim Jones) was found guilty of perjury last week and could face possible jail time.

The pint sized rapper's case was related to a shooting outside a New York radio station back in 2001 where she lied while on trial for the shooting.

The jury found Kim guilty of lying under oath to prosecutors after CCTV proved she had lied to protect two former friends who are now in prison for the shooting.

She's been found guilty of three counts of perjury and one of conspiracy, each count carries a maximum of five years, she'll be sentenced in June.
