                __________________________________________________________________ Destiny's
Child is 'Loving It' - McDonalds style

Justin Timberlake loves them and now Destiny's Child will take on
the slogan of 'I'm loving It' by becoming the latest big name to
promote the fast food giant - McDonalds .The girls will appear in adverts
for the restaurant who are also sponsoring their world tour to begin
next year after lead singing diva Beyonce

enough 'Destiny Fulfilled and Lovin' It'.
               Despite negative press surrounding
the fast food chain, such as the recent docu-film 'Supersize
Me', Beyonce seems very excited about promoting the chain:
               "We're loving the chance
to work with McDonalds and know that together we'll create lots
              of fun and cool surprises".

           On
the rise: UK latest R&B princess - newcomer Avani

               My
native land of London, England has always brought out the best
R&B singers from both genders. The likes of Omar,
                Ola Olubule, Craig
                David, Beverley Knight,
                 Sade and more recently Jamelia,
                 Amy Winehouse and Julie
Dexter has been making quite a splash there. With that said there is
now a new young singing sensation onthe horizon that is gonig
to cause quite a stir. Her name is Avani and she is the hottest
singer out there at the moment. So who is she you might ask
well Avani started singing in her teens with a local band in
South London, but after a few years the band broke up. It was
during that time that she caught the attention of the legendary
UK manager Tony Hall. Tony's responsible for
guiding some of the biggest names in the UK soul scene from
The Real Thing, to Loose Ends to Lynden David Hall so when her
material landed in his office, he knew he had found one extraordinary
new artist and was keen to work with her. They met and the album
was underway with the help of singer/producer Don-E (who produced
2 tracks) and newcomer Shaun Stanley also on board The lead off single is
her classic renindition of the Loose
Ends smash hit from the 80s - 'Watching
You' featuring the originator of the song (none other
                  than Carl McIntosh himself)
and one of my favourite vocalists around today Rahsaan
Patterson The song is an excellent remake and one
that is gaining radio airplay momentum on the UK shores. Be
on the lookout for this talented young singer - she's a star
                  on the rise.

             They
said that the music would never last, that it was a fad, here today
gone tomorrow in 1974. The disco crase was in full swing and thriving
on both the charts and clubs alike. Then came the unlikely contender
for the listening massive - Rap and Hip Hop.
The story of rap begins in New York in the boogie down Bronx to
be exact where DJ Kool Herc
started to spin the music at block parties and dancehalls. Word
of mouth quickly spread and the music gained momentum throughout
the community. Soon the likes of Grand Master Flash would
start to strut their stuff. Later DJ Grand Wizard Therodore starting
the stratching of records and the new form was born. SugarHill Gang
has the first big record and then Run DMC ran ith it after that
opening the doors for the Eminems and NWAs.

With the new ducumentary airing this week as a 5 part series, the
show will dicept the genre known as hip hop and rap with stories,
interviews, early videos and more. The show will be capped off with
a tribute performance to the honorees DJ
              Hollywood, DJ Kool Herc,
               KRS-One, Run-DMC,
               Public Enemy, Rock
              Steady Crew, Sugarhill Gang
and the late Tupac Shakur. The
