Most might say Janet's 'Super Bowl' incident is a good thing

Getting a 'bad rep' - Janet With all the hype surrounding Janet Jackson and her Super Bowl incident, is it any wonder that the public interest is so high on her at the moment. Some might say the incident is a good thing for her - so let's just think about it for a sec, she has just released her new single 'Just a lil while' to the net and radio, she has her new album 'Damita Jo' due in a couple of months, what better time or way to draw up publicity and attention to yourself.

It couldn't be better planed if you ask me and it's worked so far as interest in her and her music is at buzz like levels, so much so in fact that she's become the top 'searched' personality on the net (according to Lycos). The downside to this of course is all the flack she's getting because of it. Janet is a talented singer/songwriter/actress and because of one incident she's now branded a bad person, a bad influence I mean people sueing her over this is rediculous. It's unfortunate, regretable maybe but it doesn't distinquish her talents so people out there who are offended by this needs to relax, I've seen worse on telly's reality series such as MTV's 'Real World' or CBS's 'Surviver'

Beyonce's sister Solange surprises all - ties the knot

Now a wife = Solange KnowlesSeems that she's beaten her sister to the punch even though there's been speculation wizzing in the air the last month or so Beyonce would be heading up the aisle herself. Now her baby sister Solange has tied the knot.

The 17 year old Solange got married to boyfriend, football player Daniel Smith in the Bahamas, her record company, Columbia Records confirmed last week. Her parents, Matthew Knowles (Destiny's Child manager) and Tina Knowles the groups clothes designer with Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland were all in attendence at the wedding.

'I am excited about this new phase in my life. I am very happy and feel truly blessed to have the unconditional love and support of my parents and my entire family.' she said in a statement. Most feel there is more to it than them just getting married as there is a hint of her being pregnant so he is doing the honorable thing. She is due to make her feature film debut in Johnson Family Vacation, due out later this year. More to come on this I'm sure
