Missy Elliot will be 'So Addictive' come May 15th

Missy 'Misdemeanor' Elliot returns to stake her claim to the throne atop the female rap world with her latest release 'So Addictive' (Eastwest/Goldmine). The lass from Portsmouth, Virginia is in the midst of a heavy promotional tour to promote the new set that features guest artists such as Nelly Fugado featured on the remix of the 1st single 'Get ur freak on',

Ginuwine comes on board with the ballad 'Take away' and Da'brat takes a stab on the dance floor mover 'Slap slap'. "One Minute Man" features Jay-Z and Ludacris doing separate versions of the track and the inspirational "I'm Moving On," (which was inspired by a deceased friend of Missy) features gospel singer Kim Burrell and other gospel-bearing sisters, including Yolanda Adams and Mary Mary..

Elliott wrote and executive produced the set with her usual partner of beats extraordinaire Timberland who in addition to having producing duties on all the tracks appears on the cut "What Cha Gonna Do."
