Erykah adds a little 'Danger' to her latest

Dangerous - Erykah Badu With her latest disc pending release for the better part of a year now, we were glad to hear that Erykah Badu will finally drop her latest set Worldwide Undergroud come Sept 16th. The Dallas native's official single from the album will be 'Danger' although another track 'Funk U up' (featuring Angie Stone, Queen Latifah and Bahamadia) was released earlier on in the year.

Danger was produced by Badu and co-written with R.C. Williams has a hard driven, funky bassline that leads you into a head bopping groove worthy of your listening ear. It will make the rounds at radio in early to mid August.

Also appearing on the new disc is a collaboration with the multi talented Lenny Kravitz, a song entitled 'Back in the Day' Funk U up (as mentioned above). There's rumor of a collaboration with current beau Common but no word on the name of the track itself.

Vital Voice: Newcomer Zoe Spencer

Vital Voice - Zoe spencerIf you've not heard of Zoe Spencer then rest assured you will be hearing a lot of her in the upcoming future. you see Zoe Spencer is a new singer/songwriter who's about to hit the spot in a major way.

She is a singer who has the natural ability to write moving songs. Not a songwriter by trade, she was influenced at an early age by some of her favourites 'divas' such as Billy Holiday, Phyllis Hyman, Sade, Teena Marie and Chaka Khan. Seeing what the past had given her, Zoe realized that her dream to be a singer can become a reality but certain things must take place - homing her vocals skills and gaining experience. As luck would have it, into her life entered the legendary singer and producer Al Johnson who took her under his wing.

The song itself is a treat from start to finish. Sampling elements of Earth, Wind and Fire's 'Summer Madness', Zoe's sultry voice caresses the words with the sweetest of ease to weave a tale of love and desire. Wonderfully produced by Al (famous for the track 'I'm back for more' back in the late 70s), Al also serves as her manager as he guides the young songstress into becoming a singing sensation.

Destiny's Child: a trio and a quartet - that is the question!

Doing her thing - SolangeMatthew Knowles the manager of Destiny's Child (and father to lead singer Beyonce) is thinking of changing the line-up of the group from a trio to a quartet adding youngest daughter Solange to the mix.

Matthew recently proclaimed that he would consider changing the line-up of the group so it would include his youngest daughter but when questioned by CNN's The Music Room, oldest daughter Beyonce claims quote "actually that was a rumor" stating that "I'm her biggest fan and she's my biggest fan, we completely support each other I'm very proud of her".

Solange has already released her debut album 'Solo Star' and has already completed her yet to be titled sophomore set as well which is slated for release this winter or spring of next year.
